In the app
Open the app, go to Account, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account. You will be asked for your password to confirm. Your sign-in is closed immediately.
By email
If you no longer have the app, email info@amerentals.co.uk from the address you registered with and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm within 5 working days.
What is deleted, and what we must keep
We erase your name, contact details, address, driving-licence details, uploaded documents, saved cards and notification tokens. Hire agreements, invoices and payment records are kept for the period the law requires (six years for accounting records) and are not used for anything else. See our privacy policy, section 6.
A live hire cannot be deleted while a van is out; return the van first and we will close the account straight after.
